Nearly 20 years of cloud and SaaS expertise
DEVOLUT brings together nearly 20 years of expertise in cloud computing and in the development of SaaS solutions. That expertise was built on demanding software infrastructure projects: multi-tenant distribution platforms, automated service provisioning, usage-based billing, and backup of large data volumes under bandwidth and sovereignty constraints.
To that we have added deep practice in management applications — CRM, back-office systems, portals — and in the integration of systems that were never designed to work together.
We also practise product ownership: scoping a requirement, specifying it, setting priorities and managing delivery of a software product end to end. That is often the capability missing in organisations that know what they want to achieve but not how to turn it into software.
Based in Montpellier, southern France
DEVOLUT is based in Montpellier, in the Occitanie region of southern France. We work with organisations across the region and remotely throughout France. Our way of working is built for distributed teams: regular contact, demonstration environments available continuously, decisions written down and traceable. On-site meetings happen when they serve the project, particularly during scoping and acceptance.
Cross-border delivery as established practice
We have long delivered projects with software vendors and partners in the United States. That practice has exposed us to requirements that go well beyond language: technical and interoperability constraints, different contractual frameworks, different approval rhythms and working habits.
For a client outside France, that matters in practical terms. The whole project cycle runs in English — specifications, architecture decisions, reviews, documentation, go-live — and the written, traceable way we work is what makes a project viable across a significant time difference. For French clients addressing international markets, the same capability applies in the other direction.
Projects, not a product catalogue
DEVOLUT publishes no software of its own and sells no subscriptions. We therefore have no product to sell you: our interest lies in the solution we design being the right one for your context.
We take on every kind of request: a complete platform to build, a line-of-business application, a portal, an integration between existing tools, taking over a project already under way, or a straightforward advisory assignment. Small subjects interest us as much as large ones — they are often the ones that reveal the real requirements.
